Lee County Natural Resources is hosting a series
of technical coordination meetings relating to the pending development of Total
Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and the subsequent preparation of Basin Management
Action Plans (BMAPs) for receiving waterbodies in Lee County. The goal of these
meetings is to foster communication and coordination between the stakeholders
and interested parties that will be responsible for developing and implementing
solutions to reduce annual pollutant loads in order to eliminate the existing
impairments that have been identified and verified by FDEP.
