SFWMD Appointees

Governor Crist today announced the appointment of Paul Huck, Jr. and Robert J. Montgomery to the South Florida Water Management District Governing Board. Mr. Huck, an attorney from Coral Gables, succeeds Nicolas Gutierrez and served as Governor Crist's General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer from 2007-2008. Prior to that, he served Governor Crist in the office of Attorney General.

Mr. Montgomery is a Senior Vice President for Conservation and Environmental Sustainability for the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Mr. Montgomery succeeds Harkley Thornton of Osceola County. We believe both appointees will be outstanding members of the governing board and continue to represent the outstanding quality reflected by the Governor's previous choices.
