Dear Stewards of Rivers, Water and Land,

It's time to save the date for the 11th annual National River Rally at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort near Salt Lake City Utah! Join us for the best national training on water issues, unforgettable field trips and the inspirational River Heroes Banquet, as well as the release of River Network's new strategic plan for water that will bring together federal and state resources, grassroots needs and community ingenuity.



River Rally Highlights


*Friday Opening Celebration: What do hundreds of River Network Partner groups, leading national environmental organizations, half a dozen federal agencies, and researchers at the forefront of science all have in common? They've spent over a year working together to create a new grassroots strategic plan for river and watershed protection. Join us at the Friday opening celebration where we'll officially launch the plan and learn about new resources we have coming your way!

*Friday intensives sessions on topics including: Green Infrastructure * Federal Funding for Watershed Organizations * Water Quality Monitoring * Leadership Summit * GIS * Abandoned Mine Reclamation * Tools for Protecting Rivers on Federal Lands * Funders' Office Hours and others.

*Saturday and Sunday it's time to take advantage of 70 workshops covering these topics: Clean Water Act * Human Health * Agriculture & Industry * Technology * Aquatic Ecosystems * Partnerships & Diversity * Wetlands * Stormwater * Climate Change * Fundraising * Political Strategies * Western Issues * Watershed Restoration * Sustainable Organizations and more.

*Extras!! Join River Network and 500 of your closest friends for field trips on Friday and Monday, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival and River Idol on Saturday and the River Heroes Banquet Sunday evening where we gather to honor those who have demonstrated passion, enthusiasm and commitment to watershed stewardship for the benefit of us all.
