Greetings Lower West Coast Stakeholders!
The South Florida Water Management District is pleased to announce the kick-off of the update to the Lower West Coast (LWC) Water Supply Plan. The Lower West Coast Planning area includes all of Lee County, most of Collier County, and portions of Hendry, Glades, Charlotte, and mainland Monroe counties. This update to the water supply plan will assess current and projected water through 2040. The current LWC Water Supply Plan was approved in 2012. The LWC Water Supply Plan kick-off meeting will be on:

Items that will be covered at this workshop include:
* Activities and progress since the 2012 LWC Water Supply Plan
* Current and future water demand estimates
* Groundwater model development
* Water supply issues in the LWC
