Tallahassee, FL - Audubon greeted the news Thursday that Governor Scott
appointed Liesa Priddy to
the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission with enthusiasm.
“Ms. Priddy’s land
stewardship ethic and appreciation for Florida’s wildlife will
make her an excellent addition to this important decision making body,” said
Julie Wraithmell, Director of Wildlife Conservation
for Audubon of Florida. “We look forward to working with her on our shared
conservation priorities.”

Liesa Priddy
brings vital personal knowledge of wildlife issues from her involvement in her
family’s cattle ranch in the heart of Florida panther habitat.
They are partners on effective collaborative work to benefit both panthers and
